Fire Safety Awareness & Mock Drill Conducted at State-of-the-Art Govt. ITI Nagrota Bagwan

State-of-the-Art Govt. ITI Nagrota Bagwan, 03 September 2026: A Fire Safety Awareness Programme and Mock Drill was conducted on 03 September 2026 at the State-of-the-Art Government ITI, Nagrota Bagwan, with the objective of creating awareness among trainees and staff about fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and safe evacuation procedures.

During the programme, participants were sensitized about various fire hazards, preventive measures, the correct use of fire extinguishers, and the precautions to be taken during a fire emergency. A practical mock drill was also conducted to demonstrate emergency evacuation procedures and familiarize trainees and staff with appropriate safety protocols.

The activity provided an opportunity for the trainees to understand the importance of remaining calm and responding promptly during an emergency. The mock drill also emphasized teamwork, discipline, and preparedness to minimize the risk of injury and property loss.

The programme concluded with a message encouraging all trainees and staff to remain vigilant and follow fire safety guidelines both at the institute and in their daily lives.
